Today, we announced the name for the old barn at Kinderton along with a new logo and a beautiful new website at www.winmock.com! Check it out and let us know what you think….
The name WinMock at Kinderton was selected to honor the property’s rich history and to stay true to the barn’s original namesake. The property, 9 miles west of Winston-Salem and 9 miles east of Mocksville, has been known as Win-Mock Farm since the 1920’s. We gave the name a fresh look with a new logo that now incorporates Kinderton as its location.
WinMock at Kinderton survives from the estate built in the late 1920’s by S. Clay Williams, a former president of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. During its prime, Win-Mock Farm, as it was known, was one of the largest dairies in North Carolina with one of the biggest and best herds of Red Poll cattle in the country!

I am so happy that you are renovating the Winmock Farms barn….I grew up in the area, and I have worried about what would happen to the barn. When the property was sold and building began for the new Kinderton facility, I was so afraid that it would be torn down. I just thank you for understanding the significance of such a grand building; it is truly a thing of beauty! I look forward to seeing what it becomes.
Thanks for the great comments and for visiting our site! I’ll be posting updates soon so be sure to check back regularly for the latest news.
