Sterling Events Group, parent company to WinMock at Kinderton, will donate $20,000 to be shared among fifteen local non-profit organizations. The donation is provided through our program First Fruits. Initiated in 1999, the First Fruits program directs a portion of our company’s profitability toward non-profit agencies that assist others in the greatest need. “We believe our First Fruits program is a vital part of our responsibility to serve the community and share our blessings as a company. Team members decide how these dollars are allocated. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, Sterling Events Group, Sterling Audio Visual, and WinMock at Kinderton look forward to growing our First Fruits program in years to come,” commented Wayne Thomas, President of Sterling Events Group and owner of WinMock.
To date, WinMock at Kinderton and Sterling Events Group have donated close to $200,000 through our First Fruits program to local non-profit agencies throughout North Carolina. Some of the receiving organizations include: Crisis Control Ministry, Second Harvest Food Bank, Davie Domestic Violence Services, Hospice, Meals on Wheels, Winston Salem Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, and Wounded Warrior.
