When Kayla and Parker first visited WinMock with visions of a garden wedding dancing in their heads, we were quickly swept away by their infectious enthusiasm. They desired not only a beautiful celebration that their nearest and dearest would enjoy to the fullest, but one brimming with meaningful details. Head over heels for one another and sharing an aligned vision for the day, Kayla and Parker worked alongside their incredible vendor team to bring to life an event that perfectly represented who they are as a couple.
Their Winston-Salem, North Carolina wedding overflowed with well-curated elements, romantic moments and the most fun dance floor imaginable. We invite you to take a scroll through these incredible photos taken by Megan Travis Photography as you enjoy a BTS glimpse into their special day at WinMock.
With ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all under one roof, Kayla and Parker were able to maximize time spent with their loved ones, including their precious pup, Gracie Bell!

What was your favorite wedding moment?
“The moment I saw Parker at the altar surrounded by our lush floral arch. He took my actual breath away and in that moment, I truly feel like it was an out of body experience. I finally was living my happily ever after.”
Kayla
On display at cocktail hour were several nods to a few of the couple’s favorite things. With the help of planner, A. Noble Events, the vendor team dreamt up a custom escort card display to showcase fresh peaches with hand-calligraphed leaves in honor of the couple’s Georgia roots. Guests sipped custom cocktails while relaxing on a colorful custom lounge from The Prettiest Pieces.

Upstairs in the Loft reception space, tapered candles flickered under twinkling string lights, creating an idyllic setting for dinner amongst friends and family. Each guest was welcomed to their seat by a custom menu card by Design a la Mere and an abundance of fresh florals. Even the cake was kissed by a waterfall of seasonal blooms.
After dinner, the reception was elevated to new heights thanks to Eight Past Midnight‘s incredible, interactive performance. Guests packed the dancefloor to dance, sing and celebrate right alongside Kayla and Parker from the first note to the last.
As guests made their way outside for the grand exit, the newlyweds enjoyed a private dance together under the vaulted ceilings of the reception space.
Guests sent the newlyweds off in style as they bid the couple farewell amidst a sea of pom-poms in the colors of the couple’s respective alma maters, UNC and UGA.
Do you have any advice for our engaged readers?
“It can be a really overwhelming experience planning a wedding with lots of opinions and even more decisions to be made. Be sure to prioritize what is most important to YOU as the bride and groom and remember that at the end of the day what’s most important is that you get to marry the love of your life. Lean on your wedding tribe to make it a fun process, which is what it should be!”
