We are over the moon delighted to announce that we are looking to add a student intern to our team for the upcoming spring semester, and we would love for you to consider applying if you are interested in a career in the events or hospitality industries!

 On-site for Special Events

WinMock at Kinderton is a multi-faceted venue that hosts all sorts of events – from weddings, of course, to baby showers, birthday parties, corporate meetings, and non-profit fundraising galas. While the primary duties of the internship would be working with our weddings and social events, if chosen, you would have the opportunity to work at least three special events with our trained and skilled event team. Hands-on experience is most always a requirement for a career in our field, and we will show you what it looks like to coordinate and manage an event while working alongside trusted professionals from the perspective of an event venue.

Behind the Scenes at WinMock

While being on-site and handling an event from start to finish is lots of fun, there are plenty of hours spent dreaming and preparing for each detail. We will partner with our intern to share a behind-the-scenes look at working with clients from the initial phone call and property visit to planning meetings and vendor coordination to celebrating the beginnings of forever with #WinMockNewlyweds.

A large part of the events industry happens digitally. Key to remaining relevant and in-the-know is maintaining an active social media presence with a consistent voice. This means in addition to marketing, advertising, and networking efforts, publishing blogs, posting on Instagram and Facebook, and even interacting with other social accounts is a must. Our intern will learn the ins and outs of a professional digital presence with a goal to manage and regularly post on behalf of WinMock.
